SoapSox® started with a moment — one caregiver, one child, and one stubborn bath time.

While working at a residential treatment center for children who had experienced trauma, our founder met a little boy who simply refused to take a bath. He didn’t like the process and didn’t feel safe. So, the solution was simple but powerful: take his stuffed animal and turn it into something he could bring into the tub — something familiar, comforting, and fun.

That small breakthrough led to a big idea: what if we could create plush friends that helped kids feel excited — not anxious — about getting clean? After years of prototyping, testing, and listening to families, SoapSox was born.

SoapSox characters are soft, plush animals with a patented soap pocket inside. Just add soap and water, and they turn into gentle scrubbers kids love. Built with finger grips and machine-washable materials, our products are designed for real-life parenting — the mess, the joy, and everything in between.
